The Challenge:
The Community Foundation of Greater Buffalo partnered with BlueCross BlueShield of Western New York, the City of Buffalo, Erie County, Buffalo Block Clubs, the Baptist Minister's Conference of Buffalo and Vicinity, Community Action Organization, Buffalo Pre-natal, Peri-natal Network, Environmental Education Associates, and Family Environmental Health Resources to develop a website that educated the public about the hazards of lead.
The Solution:
COMAND Solutions developed a simple, yet informative brochure website that offers the public access to real stories of lead poisoning, news articles, and tips for parents and property owners. A client portal was set up for partners to access and update important back-end information. The website includes both English and Spanish content.
