BUFFALO, NY – COMAND Solutions is
pleased to announce the acquisition of the Time Position Network
Operations Center. Established in 2000, Time Position Computing has
provided service-oriented hosting, e-mail, and network solutions to a
variety of clients throughout Western New York and Southern Ontario.
In addition, Russell Hulsing, President
of Time Position Computing, has joined the COMAND Solutions team as
Director of Operations. Russell's in-depth knowledge and systems
administration experience, specifically in managing advanced Windows
.Net, SharePoint, and Exchange environments as well as Linux-based
systems, will allow COMAND Solutions to expand the company's
available offerings to clients – current and future.
COMAND Solutions continues to maintain
its relationships with the country's top tier data centers across
multiple locations in North America (enabling geographically
separate, fail-safe, redundancy). The acquisition of the Time
Position Network Operations Center facilitates additional hosting
redundancy on local, self-managed, self-administered servers, as well
as a lower cost option for clients with less stringent requirements.
As a result of the acquisition, COMAND
Solutions has also gained an expanded client roster. Time Position
Computing clients will maintain the same level of services and
pricing they have enjoyed, while gaining access to COMAND Solutions'
full-service content management and web development offerings.
Established in 2005 by Owner/President
Mitch Bechtel, COMAND Solutions develops websites, intranets, and
client portals that enhance brands and streamline business
operations. These web-based, hosted, “cloud” solutions are built
on the foundation of webCOMAND, an in-house developed content
management system (CMS). The company – located in Buffalo's
Allentown historic district – currently employs a team of 17
project managers, technical directors, developers, designers, and
systems administrators. COMAND Solutions is actively seeking two
additional team members: a Technical Director and a Senior Back-End
Developer.
In 2011, COMAND Solutions launched 34
web projects; ranging from a local not-for-profit theater to a global
executive search firm. The company portfolio includes projects
supported in 22 languages, represented in 41 countries and provides
ongoing hosting and support services for 70 clients.
