The Allentown Association is a not-for-profit organization that advocates historic preservation and neighborhood interests in the Buffalo, New York community of Allentown.
The Allentown Association's existing website was difficult to update— and consequently frequently out-of-date. Most significantly, the Association had loosely organized information for hundreds of properties which needed to be collated, organized and brought online.
Allentown Association's existing website was migrated into webCOMAND, which simplifies the website update and production processes with automated templates and publication procedures. Individual web page and side box content is now organized into easily manipulated records, while information that appeared in multiple locations on the site is now unified and controlled from a single record.
webCOMAND imported, organized and published property information from previously purchased GIS data, photos from a local photographer and manual data entry from association volunteers. The result is a visually attractive photo gallery of every property in Allentown.
